Teaching points

  • Calm is an comfortable emotion. This does not mean it is a bad or negative.

  • Just like all other emotions, Calm ‘visits’ all of us. Feelings are always temporary.

  • Model 3 different times you have been calm for your children linking to what happened to your body and your mind. Emphasise why calm came to visit and how you explored it.
